Position Overview

NORTH STAR HOME CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a Roofing Support Technician. This position involves assisting in various construction tasks, primarily focused on roofing projects.

Education Requirements

Work Environment

The role is primarily conducted outdoors, where candidates should be prepared for a noisy and dusty atmosphere.

Work Setting

Employees will work at multiple locations, adapting to the needs of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and manage construction materials effectively.
  • Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading construction materials like concrete and asphalt.
  • Support the medical examiner on-site as needed.
  • Help with the framing of houses, erecting walls, and constructing roofs.
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Manage cleanup of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
  • Remove debris and rubble from construction sites.
  • Direct traffic safely around construction zones.
Weight Handling

Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is necessary.
