Your Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of rehabilitation professionals at Alberta Health Services.

Description:

As a Physiotherapist I, you will provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence in development, disease, disability, chronic conditions, illness, and functional decline.

You will provide a range of services, including prevention, triage, screening, assessment, diagnosis, goal setting, treatment, management, education, consultation, and case management to individuals, groups, populations, and communities.

You will work collaboratively with patients and families to determine, implement, and evaluate appropriate rehabilitation strategies.

You will participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich supports, and engage in quality improvement, partnering with healthcare providers, patients, families, and other stakeholders to advance services for their clients.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program.

Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta with no practice restrictions.

Member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA).

First aid prior to first day of work.

Alberta driver's license and automobile in good working condition.

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding and working knowledge of Connect Care would be an asset.

Physical ability to perform all job demands.

Understanding of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint would be an asset.
