About the Role

RIG Logistics Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team as a Vehicle Operator. This is a permanent position that requires a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and proficiency in driver logbook maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods.
  • Handle goods loading and unloading, maintaining the optimal condition of the vehicle.
  • Conduct thorough inspections before, during, and after trips, identifying any potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch, accurately documenting cargo details, service hours, distance, and fuel use.
  • Respond to emergency roadside situations, prioritizing the safety of the vehicle and its occupants.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Proficiency in driver logbook maintenance
  • Experience in inspection reporting
  • Ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
