Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
