Job Summary

Leuschen Transportation is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Operator to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Safety: Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures, ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Logistics and Administration: Complete logbooks and reports, communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radio systems, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Maintain a valid driver's license, undergo a criminal record check, and pass a medical exam.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues, communicate effectively with passengers and dispatchers, and demonstrate flexibility and judgment in high-pressure situations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Schedule: 15 to 30 hours per week.
