Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage client-related issues, including trade processing, fund valuation, fee calculations, and investor reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of client and investor reports with fund offering documents and service level agreements.
- Provide training and mentorship to fund and senior accountants.
- Address product, technical, and procedural challenges raised by fund accountants.
- Enhance efficiency and throughput within the team by streamlining processes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by your direct manager or other SS&C leadership.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Extensive experience in hedge fund/private equity fund or investment accounting.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian, U.S., and international investment characteristics, including both common and exotic investments.
- Experience with IFRS investment funds financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- A post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
