About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at GTA Skilled Trades. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Equipment Installation: Install machinery and equipment, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as required.
  • Quality Control: Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges, and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
