At Montrose Environmental Group, we're committed to delivering innovative solutions for a more resilient world. As an Environmental Scientist or Technologist, you'll join our Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Monitoring (ARRM) team in Fort St John, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct contaminated site investigations, including drilling assessments, groundwater monitoring, remediation activities, and reclamation activities.
  • Supervise drilling types in soil and bedrock, install GW monitoring wells, and operate remediation systems.
  • Prepare for ground disturbance, including submitting BC 1 Calls and reviewing ground disturbance packages.
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical advisors to communicate project progress and scope changes.
  • Support and mentor junior professionals, providing on-the-job training in the field and office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with assessment, remediation, and reclamation projects.
  • A degree or technical diploma in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or engineering.
  • Strong safety mindset, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior professionals.
  • Experience as a ground disturbance supervisor and familiarity with spill response.
