Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Edmonton Construction. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages as required, and attach rigging to ensure safe access.
  • Work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial sites.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a high-quality finish.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in painting or a related trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and ensure accurate color matching.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Working Conditions

As a Painter with Edmonton Construction, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of projects and deadlines. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.
