Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Startec Compression & Process. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instruments and equipment in our fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and calibrate instruments, including flow meters, pressure gauges, and other equipment.
  • Bend and install tubing and required support.
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions or breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and calibration.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson certification in Instrumentation or a related trade.
  • 5+ years of experience in instrumentation installation, testing, and calibration within a fabrication environment.
  • Commissioning and start-up experience is an asset.
  • Strong instrument and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Well-organized, excellent communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
