About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at McNamara Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Linens and Amenities: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and ensure that all guest rooms are fully equipped with linens and amenities.
  • Public Area Cleaning: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Special Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
