About the Role:
The Halvar Jonson Centre for Brain Injury is a 48-bed facility that provides care for patients with acquired brain injury through an interdisciplinary approach. As a Physiotherapist I, you will be responsible for assessing patients and developing, implementing, and evaluating individual treatment programs according to professional practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement and evaluate treatment programs
- Maintain accurate treatment and progress records
- Attend treatment team conferences and supervise therapy assistants
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- CPR certification (BLS for Health Care Providers Level C)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months experience in brain injury rehabilitation
