About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Chee Family. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, ensuring their safe transportation and participation in community activities.
  • Medication Management: Assist clients with medication administration, as required, and maintain accurate records of medication schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as personal care, home support, or healthcare.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
