About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Lally Bros Holding Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of commercial transport trucks to identify and repair or replace faulty parts and components.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools to locate and resolve mechanical issues with truck systems, including alignment, steering, and suspension, brake systems, and ignition and electrical systems.
  • Estimation and Reporting: Accurately estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and complete detailed reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong judgment, reliability, and a commitment to quality work.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
