Quality Assurance Inspector

Position Overview:
As a key member of our production team, the Quality Assurance Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. This position involves a variety of quality control and compliance tasks under the guidance of the Production Supervisor. Responsibilities include examining specifications and inspecting filter bags to confirm adherence to Albarrie's rigorous quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of filter bags upon completion to verify compliance with Albarrie's quality standards as outlined in engineering drawings.
  • Efficiently fold and stack filter bags for optimal organization.
  • Identify and apply the correct cell plates based on engineering specifications.
  • Repackage repaired filter bags according to customer specifications.
  • Prepare boxes for shipping by taping them as necessary.
  • Accurately label boxes to complete order information for shipping.
  • Document quality control findings on specified sheets for all products.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards to maintain compliance.
  • Safeguard client and company information by ensuring confidentiality.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with team members and management.
  • Previous sewing experience is considered an asset.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of various fabrics.
  • Familiarity with sewing techniques.
  • Ability to read specification sheets and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with computer systems, including ERP software for work order management.
