Pharmacy Technician Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Shoppers Drug Mart, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions and provide accurate information to customers
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and third-party billing
  • Maintain accurate records and files, adhering to pharmacy standards and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication

Requirements:

  • Registered with the corresponding provincial licensing college
  • Diploma from a Pharmacy Technician College
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferred
  • Effective organizational skills, ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
