We are currently in search of qualified individuals for the role of Accounts Payable Associate, based at our Head Office.
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Associate must excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while upholding a high standard of professionalism, precision, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in accounting principles, demonstrate analytical thinking, and exhibit strong motivation along with exceptional communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Addressing Accounts Payable inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting thorough analysis and processing of invoices, including both manual and purchase order types.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve invoice and credit discrepancies.
- Preparing and analyzing reconciliations for vendor accounts.
- Performing month-end tasks: reviewing, analyzing, and resolving aged, held, and unprocessed items.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Accounting, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience with Dynamics 365 and Exflow is an asset.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude for systems and technology.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
