Job Title: Industrial Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/L.P. in Anglais ou Français.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance work on machinery, detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions, and constructing foundations for machinery. Additionally, the candidate will repair or replace defective machinery parts, fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up, and operate machining tools to fabricate parts.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection.
  • Troubleshooting: Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Construction: Construct foundations for machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Fabrication: Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
  • Operation: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install machinery and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Bilingual (Anglais ou Français).
  • Work Environment: At heights, noisy, odours, confined spaces, and dusty.
  • Work Setting: Machinery installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and machine set-up.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
