Job Summary

Kal Tire is seeking a skilled Commercial Tire Technician to join our team in Richmond, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair commercial tires and wheels, including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, and installation.
  • Conduct routine tire inspections and maintenance services to ensure proper tire inflation, tread wear, and overall conditions.
  • Provide tire-related assistance for commercial vehicles stranded on the road, interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively to explain tire services performed and any additional recommendations for maintenance and repair.

Requirements

  • A valid Driver's License
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tire services
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a positive, collaborative, and constructive workplace
  • Comfortable lifting 50 lbs at shoulder height and wearing required PPE
