About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dining Room Assistant to join our team at Care UK. As a Dining Room Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience of our residents, promoting social interaction, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the dining room prior to mealtimes to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with replenishing the Bistro area and maintaining a well-stocked environment
  • Support special events and activities held within the home, ensuring a seamless experience for residents
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a high-quality dining experience, meeting the diverse needs of our residents

About You
  • A Level 2 in Food Hygiene (or willingness to undertake the qualification within 12 weeks)
  • Experience in catering services (waiting/serving) is beneficial, but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with good judgment and problem-solving abilities
