Job Title: Delivery Driver

Sun Farm Produce (2007) Ltd. is seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Pick Up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Operate Vehicles: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
  • Payment and Invoicing: Accept payment or invoices for items delivered.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Sales: Sell products over established routes, meeting sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of items received and delivered, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Special Events: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Trip Planning: Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce travel time.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a team environment.
