Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management, and treatment to individuals experiencing significant mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of clients.
  • Conduct assessments and provide psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Collaborate with community resources and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment and psychotherapy.
  • Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a rural healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous culture, history, and health practices.
