Pet Care Manager

Pet Valu is a leading retailer in the pet care industry, dedicated to providing families with food and supplies for their pets. Our stores are committed to helping local pets in need, and we partner with local shelters, rescues, and charities for adoption events, in-store adoption, and pet food bank programs.
As a Store Manager, you will be part of a team of passionate Pet Experts who are dedicated to delivering world-class service to our customers. You will coach and develop your store team to deliver exceptional customer service and help Pet Parents find the right nutrition and solutions for their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all customer service standards are met by staff
- Manage a team of employees, including recruiting, scheduling, training, and day-to-day assignment of tasks
- Coordinate order placements, maintain inventory, and ensure store audits and safety audits are completed
- Coordinate efforts of store staff to achieve targeted results
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years customer service and retail store management experience
- Enthusiasm for learning and growth in the pet care industry
- Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work as scheduled to meet attendance requirements, including weekends and evenings
