Job Summary

The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Sculpture to teach and mentor students in the Department of Fine Arts. As a Professor of Sculpture, you will be responsible for delivering lectures, leading workshops, and assessing student work in a variety of sculpture techniques and mediums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach sculpture courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum for sculpture courses
  • Assess student work and provide feedback

Requirements

  • Master of Fine Arts or equivalent degree in Sculpture or a related field
  • Established reputation and exhibition record in sculpture and contemporary art
  • Teaching experience at the post-secondary level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching sculpture courses to diverse student populations
  • Strong knowledge of sculpture techniques and mediums
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
