The Healthcare Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring patients' dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
