About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Panjabi Foods Ltd. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, including cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
    • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
    • Prepare and serve food in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean and tidy at all times.
    • Restock supplies and equipment as needed.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve kitchen goals and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an asset.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client-focused and team-oriented individual.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent full-time position.
  • 30 hours per week.
