Position Overview:
The role of a Medical Electrophysiology Specialist involves conducting a variety of diagnostic assessments on patients utilizing advanced electronic instruments to monitor and record the electrical activity of organs and biological systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute diagnostic evaluations on patients, employing electronic devices to gather data on movements or electrical signals from biological systems.
- Prepare patients for procedures, apply electrodes, verify the proper operation of equipment, and document findings accurately.
- Engage in multiple areas of electrophysiology, including but not limited to EEG, EMG, and ECG.
- Participate in educational initiatives and clinical training programs as needed.
Qualifications:
- A college diploma in medical electrophysiology from an accredited institution is required.
- Membership in the Quebec Order of Medical Imaging Technologists is mandatory.
