About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radio Service Technician to join our team in Saskatoon, SK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of wireless communication systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with radio systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in wireless communication technology.

Requirements:

  • 2-year diploma in electronics engineering technology or related field, or 4-year bachelor's degree in electronics combined with related work experience.
  • 2+ years of direct industry work experience.
  • Valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record within the last 5 years.
  • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing for site access.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience working with conventional, trunking, and P25 radio systems in industrial environments.
  • Experience working with portable and mobile radio equipment with basic diagnostic and radio programming.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment, and design/fabrication techniques.
