Senior Big Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Big Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust big data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your expertise in Scala, Java, Hive, Big Data platforms (e.g., Spark), HDFS, Unix shell scripting, SQL, and Snowflake to develop and implement data pipelines and processing workflows.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from our data warehouse. Your hands-on experience will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data models and schemas, creating comprehensive data definitions for new files or modifications to existing ones, tailored for analytical purposes.
  • Apply advanced statistical analysis techniques to compliance data, research projects, and business intelligence initiatives. Your ability to identify trends and correlations within complex datasets will be invaluable.
  • Possess strong communication and analytical skills, demonstrating a deep understanding of technical architectures and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
