Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and quality of work
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to complete tasks
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all worksites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees
  • Experience in offering on-the-job training tailored to youth
  • Ability to provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
