Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Coastal Ford Sales Limited. As an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, you will assist in the diagnosis and repair of complex automotive systems, working under the supervision of experienced technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the diagnosis and repair of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Work with a variety of tools and equipment, including lifts, diagnostic equipment, and hand tools.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and meet deadlines.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Valid driver's license (Class 3 or D).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Work Environment

As an Automotive Service Technician Apprentice, you will work in a team environment, collaborating with other technicians and support staff to complete repairs and meet deadlines.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
