About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Furniture Sales Consultant to join our team at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling furniture and home furnishings to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate and efficient sales processes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on selecting the perfect furniture and home furnishings for their needs.
  • Estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates to meet customer expectations.
  • Greet and engage with customers, discussing their needs and preferences to provide personalized sales experiences.
  • Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring accurate and efficient sales processes.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
