About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at J&T MACHINE KNIFE INC. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating metal structures and components using various metalworking techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for metal fabrication projects
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Weld or bolt sections together, using various welding techniques and equipment
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as cutting torches, drills, and grinders
  • Construct patterns and templates for metal fabrication projects
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring safety and efficiency
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Proficient in operating cutting torches, drills, grinders, and other metalworking equipment
  • Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines and programming
  • Familiarity with various metalworking techniques, including welding and bolting
