Your Opportunity

Our Assurance & Accounting team is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Greater Toronto Area offices (Oakville, Markham & Toronto). As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing technical knowledge to carry out work projects and assignments
  • Preparing and completing working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards
  • Gathering evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and effectively responding to requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Effectively communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis

Your Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Completed their undergraduate degree or diploma and the necessary CPA pre-requisites
  • A desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative to seek understanding
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
