About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Merchandising Manager to join our TECH Department at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing sales through the presentation and merchandising of the TECH area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience
  • Manage and maintain the professional image of the TECH department, ensuring a high level of presentation and merchandising standards
  • Monitor and control the financial aspect of the TECH area, ensuring maximum profitability
  • Set production/sales goals for the TECH Department team and hold them accountable to maximize sales events and productivity
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management, customer service, and employee conduct
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive business results and improve customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to drive sales and improve customer experience
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the TECH Department's operational software and support systems
  • Knowledge of desktop PCs and Windows-based operating systems
  • A thorough understanding of all TECH products and services, including Photo Electronics, photofinishing, Audio Video Systems, and Computer categories
  • A good working knowledge of merchandising principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
