Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their rehabilitation needs and develop personalized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
- Physiotherapy Services: Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to help them recover from injury or illness.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and occupational therapists, to ensure that clients receive comprehensive care.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans, and provide regular reports to clients and their families.
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and mentor physiotherapy assistants and students, and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Registration and Licensure: Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Professional Experience: Must have experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a long-term care facility.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Education and Training: Must have a degree in physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
