Job Description

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at RhynoCare. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Care: Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Assessment and Planning: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
  • Medication Management: Ensure the safe and controlled use of medications and narcotics.
  • Resident Care: Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, and other relevant legislation.
  • Clearance: Medical Clearance, Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.

**Note:** All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination and adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols.
