About the Role:

As a key player in our Supply Chain team, your expertise will be crucial in evaluating supplier capabilities and enhancing supply chain operations. This position may involve travel as part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate comprehensive assessments of supplier capabilities, managing timelines and logistics while ensuring effective outcomes.
- Perform on-site evaluations of suppliers, concentrating on critical areas such as demand forecasting, sales and operations planning, production and inventory management, procurement strategies, and overall supplier relations.
- Analyze supplier performance metrics in financial and human resource functions.
- Identify deficiencies and opportunities for enhancement within supplier supply chain processes.
- Maintain a detailed record of supplier risks and improvement initiatives, monitor progress, and work collaboratively with team members to address challenges.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Operations within the Industrial Manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in Sales and Operations Planning or inventory management, including at least 3 years in a coaching capacity.
- Familiarity with essential planning systems and tools, including ERP and MRP.
- Exceptional skills in relationship management, negotiation, and teamwork.
- Technical proficiency and strong command of MS Office applications.
- Ability to connect assessment results with strategic business goals.
