Job Title: Team Member, Lumber Yard

At RONA, we're committed to helping people bring their projects to life. As a Team Member in our Lumber Yard, you'll play a key role in providing expert advice and assistance to customers, ensuring a quality customer experience and a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
  • Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
  • Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
  • Assist with the daily upkeep of the department, including offloading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labeling, and maintaining pallets/stock
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
  • Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
  • Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
What We're Looking For:
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Knowledge of building materials is an asset
