We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at St. John Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of health issues, from non-urgent to life-threatening.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest emergency nursing practices and technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Two years' recent experience working in a tertiary care Emergency Department and/or two years' recent medical/surgical experience.
- Completion of an approved post-basic emergency nursing specialty program or equivalent training and experience may be considered.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACL) for Emergency room.
