Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking incoming and outgoing materials, as well as implementing quality control measures to ensure that all ordered materials meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and organize incoming materials, including mail and packages
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all ordered materials meet our standards
  • Load and unload packages, and organize stock in an efficient manner
  • Pull materials to fulfill orders, and wrap packages for delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels for hazardous waste supplies, and suggest new orders when needed
  • Document orders, materials, and stock movements
  • Ensure safe handling of materials, and follow all relevant policies and procedures
  • Set up training rooms, and ensure that they are updated and ready for use
  • Attend to furniture moving requests from clients, and ensure that material handling tasks are completed on time
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or two-way radio devices
  • Experience using warehouse equipment, such as pump trucks and pallet jacks
  • Strong communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Organizational skills, and ability to meet physical demands of the job
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
