About the Role

GEMCO WOODKRAFTS LTD is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating and assembling metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Out and Assembling: Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly of metal structures.
  • Metal Fabrication: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required.
  • Metal Working: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to fabricate metal components.
  • Pattern Making: Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate fabrication of metal components.
  • Installation: Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management in English.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional overtime as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
