About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Morrison Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Inventory and Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills
    • Client-focused with a strong attention to detail
