- Ear Care: Clean animal ears to prevent infections and promote overall health.
- Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient grooming process.
- Flea and Tick Control: Provide flea bath treatments to animals to prevent infestations.
- Nail Care: Clip animal nails to prevent overgrowth and promote comfort.
- Advanced Grooming: Perform expert clipping on show animals using specialized tools, including clippers, shears, and massage sponges.
- Dental Care: Perform dental cleaning on domestic animals to promote oral health.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Setting: Pet grooming shop.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Permanent Employment: A stable and secure work environment.
- Language of Work: English.
- Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
