Position Overview

HARMAN AUTO COLLISION INC. is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto body repair and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Guide and mentor apprentices in the repair process
  • Replace and repair various vehicle components including front ends, body parts, doors, and frames
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces prior to painting
  • Utilize tools to remove dents and imperfections
  • Install replacement parts such as fenders, panels, and grills
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to restore vehicle appearance
  • Repair or replace damaged glass components including windows and windshields
  • Use soldering equipment or plastic fillers for repairs
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment

  • Requires attention to detail and stamina for extended periods of standing
