Education Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
The position is based in a restaurant setting, with opportunities for those willing to relocate. The role may also involve working in a retail or fast food business.
Key Responsibilities- Efficiently operate the cash register and handle various payment methods including cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards.
- Accurately scan items and tabulate total payments for goods or services.
- Receive payments and ensure they are reconciled with total sales at the end of each shift.
- Engage in suggestive selling to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area and stock shelves as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons and assisting with their needs.
- Manage reservations and take-out orders effectively.
- Wrap or package merchandise for customers.
- Support customers with self-checkout processes.
- Participate in promotional activities to drive sales.
Prior experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
