Position Overview

Join our team at CARSTAR Halifax as an Automotive Body Repair Specialist. This is a permanent position where you will be working in a dynamic environment focused on vehicle restoration and repair.

Work Environment

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college or CEGEP program, or a non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years)
  • Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in the field
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Replace and repair various vehicle components including body parts, doors, and frames
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding
  • Mask and tape surfaces to ensure a clean paint job
