We are seeking a talented and experienced lawyer to join our Law Department as a Staff Solicitor.

The successful candidate will provide legal advice on municipal, real estate, land use, land development, and infrastructure issues, including management of and advice on related litigation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of municipal law, real property law, and legal research, including drafting of memoranda and opinions.

They will also have excellent file and client management techniques, fluency in MS Office, and experience with myLTSA, BCOnline, and legal research resources.

A minimum of four years of post-call legal practice is required, and the candidate must be a practicing member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.

The work environment is dynamic and flexible, and the successful candidate will be able to function with minimal administrative support.
