Job Summary:

LGS Prime Service is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Mechanic / Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, including air conditioning and heating, brake systems, electrical and electronic systems, and engine systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair air conditioning and heating systems
  • Maintain and repair brake systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems
  • Diagnose and repair engine systems (diesel and gas)
  • Perform fuel injection diagnostic and repair
  • Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Manage toolboxes loaned to students
  • Perform oil and filter changes
  • Repair suspension and steering systems
  • Store and maintain tires
  • Perform wheel alignments

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice)
  • 1 year of experience as a Mechanic / Technician

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passenger Car Driver's License
  • Experience with manual driving

Software Proficiency:

  • AllData
  • GEM-CAR - Shop Management

Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills

Certifications:

  • Competency card CPA (1,2,3 or A,B,C)
