About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Gadiwood Canada Inc. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our facilities, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
  • Manage Cleaning Supplies and Equipment: Order and manage cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that the cleaning team has everything they need to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and Report on Cleaning Performance: Track and report on cleaning performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to address any issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Willing to work in a wet/damp environment with odours, dust, and danger.
  • Work Setting: Residential and willing to relocate.
